Privacy Policy

MyLoveAxis uses account and profile information, birth details, and any photos, voice recordings, or music connection you choose to add to provide your account and private reading experience. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

To request account deletion, email us from your registered account address. We will verify your identity before processing the request. After verification, we will remove your account, profile, birth details, photos, voice recordings, and music connection.

Records we must keep for billing, security, and delivery may be retained, along with already-issued sealed reports. Deleted data may also remain in backups until those backups age out. Our target is to complete the request within 14 calendar days after identity verification. This is a manual process and is not available as an account-settings control. Safety reports and moderation records are retained as described in “Safety Reports and Moderation Records” below; closing your account does not remove them.

When you close your account, your identity is detached from conversations in which you participated. Closing one account does not immediately erase the other participant's history; message text, conversation records and messaging rate-limit records continue on the same 12-month, 90-day, 24-month and 30-day schedules described under “Messages.” If both participants are gone, the conversation and its messages are removed on the next scheduled cleanup. Backups age out on their normal schedule.

When you submit a safety report, it contains your account reference, the reported account, the reason selected, the details you wrote, and the submission date. Authorized reviewers may access the report information appropriate to their role to review reports and record review outcomes.

Full reports are kept for 12 months from the most recent review action, or from the date the report was created if it was never reviewed, and are then deleted. A reduced, non-identifying record is kept for a further 12 months. It contains the reason category, the review outcome, the surface involved, the month the report was created, and a pseudonymized reference used only to help recognize repeat safety patterns. It is not displayed as an account identifier and is deleted when the archive period ends.

After the archive period, the reduced record is deleted as well. Closing an account does not erase safety reports you filed or that were filed about you; account references are detached and replaced with the non-identifying record. Copies in backups age out on their normal backup schedule.

When messaging is available and you are authorized to use it, you may exchange text messages with another member after both participants consent. Message content is treated as private and is available through member messaging only to the participants. Our current reviewer tools do not provide routine access to message content. This does not limit a disclosure required by law. Any future reviewer-access or safety process would require separate approval and disclosure before use.

Message text follows a 12-month retention window from the time it is sent. If a conversation is closed, its message text follows a 90-day retention window from the time each message was sent. The conversation shell and its participant and consent records follow a 24-month retention window from the conversation's last activity. Messaging rate-limit records follow a 30-day retention window. Records are removed by scheduled cleanup after the applicable window.

If you file a safety report concerning conduct in messages, the report contains the information you submit. Filing a report does not currently attach, preserve, or extend the retention of message content, and it does not suspend the normal message-retention schedule.

Messages and conversation records may remain in backups until those backups age out on their normal schedule.
